Going Bonkers for Bittersweet!

I have officially started my Fall decorating inside my home. Out of 3 totes and many fall arrangements that were on top of the totes...didn't want them smashed...I was able to part with a whole tote of decorations. Now my harvest decor is mostly naturals with a touch of whimsy here and there. I still have a 4 year old who loves the whimsy. ;)
I purchased some gorgeous real bittersweet vines from a source of Misi's and began placing them around my home intertwined with some faux.
I am not the best picture taker...when I looked at these after I uploaded them, they did not look as great as they do in person. I invite you to come see them in person if you don't believe me! ;)
My cute bittersweet pillow
Little sprigs mixed in my pewter. I love watching them pop with color!
With my favorite candy corn doll
My Dining Room centerpiece given to me by hubby for my birthday a few years ago
Here are my pewter measures above my last door shelf.
 Kitchen table centerpiece
Long vines in my baskets by Pam

A few sprigs in my Living Room bowl rack

 A Faux garland of bittersweet
Faux branches in the basket with a gorgeous vine from Winter Willow Primitives on the second shelf. My 2 other number crocks for that shelf should be in soon
 My Dining Room bowl rack
And this is my simple stove board display for the Fall season. A faux pumpkin pie under a shoofly screen. No bittersweet here but I still loved it.;)
I am still tweaking and waiting on a few things in the mail, but I wanted to share my love of bittersweet in my decor for this Fall season.
Hope you are having a great Labor Day weekend!

Robin - Love the simple and uncluttered looks you've created. I've purged out a lot of items as well, doesn't it feel great to declutter/destash? I need to pull out my things and decorate. Thanks for sharing. ~Ann

Wow Robyn, your fall decorating is fabulous. Why don't you come visit me and help me out? BTW, I see you have 2 pewter measure sets! Lucky you! Also lucky you on having one young enough to still enjoy whimzee!

Ok, Girlfriend....spill the beans...how'd and where'd ya come up with all those to-die-for pewter measures so dang quick???!! LOVE! And some of us can look a lifetime for a set - or something even resembling a set!! Wasn't it just last month you were asking for ideas of what to display there?? Yikes.

LOVE your fall decorating - so perfectly simple and so simply perfect. Holy cats - only 3 totes (now down to 2)??? I would be thrilled if I could say only 3 SHELVES of totes!! Guess therein lies my problem - I just can't seem to do the necessary winnowing...I still love my whimsy too much....and it overfloweth....

I will use you as my inspiration - and hope heck it works!! :o) Happy holiday! Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin

Hi Robyn!
Your picture filled post today is just beautiful. I enjoyed seeing all your wonderful displays and I truly love the way the shelf over the door with the pewter turned out. It's simple yet stunning in it's own way.
Nothing like touches of bittersweet here and there to say it's fall! Wish I had access to some here in Idaho. Sagebrush yes, oh there's plenty of it but not in my fall decor! LOL Being able to pick fresh bittersweet in NE is something I really miss this time of year.
Take care.
Blessings,
Sheila

Well I think your pictures are find, but can I still come for a visit? =]

I'm a huge bittersweet fan, love it so much. Your pillow is adorable!! The bittersweet colors look so good with prims, especially with your pewter! I would leave it out year round if my family would let me. I really enjoyed looking at all your fall decor pictures. Everything looks so warm, love that~
